If youre looking to go faster on your bike, youll want to shift up into the higher gears. It is important to shift gears properly when biking, especially when cycling on hills. Now shift into your lowest gear (the one with the smallest chainring in front), and turn the low limit screw counterclockwise until there is about 1/8 of space between the metal tab on the back of the derailleur arm and the smallest sprocket wheel. Then unscrew the Allen screw underneath the grip shifter housing, and slide the shifter off the handlebars.
